This might sound daft to a lot of people, but I’ve been sitting listening to ‘Puzzle’ by Biffy Clyro a lot recently, I try ration how much I listen to it, although it is one of my favourite albums, as it has a pretty big effect on me.

As silly as this may sound, it really helped me through the grieving process when my Grampa passed away (for obvious reasons to anyone who likes Biffy, actually), but yeah, that’s why I have my Machines lyrics and puzzle piece tattooed close to my Grampa’s initials on my left side. Almost every song in that album manages to make me feel some pretty big feelings.

I’m going to sit and listen to it again tonight front to back, very loud, with paper and a pencil - and see what kind of inspiration comes out.
